TCM On Location Tour

I do love the On Location tours I’ve done Gossip Girl, Sex and the City and now the TCM tour.  This one was really fun because you have locations from “Classic” films.   This is the location where Audrey Hepburn whistled for a cab in Breakfast At Tiffany’s.  The building is under construction.   The tour guide Jason was incredible and it is really a great way to spend 3 hours.

The Video Games (Parody of The Hunger Games)

I went to see this show last month and had a fantastic time.  I’m a  big fan of The Hunger Games and only slightly familiar with some of the Video Game characters Donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda but that didn’t matter because it was so much fun.   Get there early because the cast mingles in the pre-show bar area.  You interact via Twitter so I would recommend if you don’t have an account create one before you go.  The show is different every time because of the audience participation.  They have shows monthly in New York and one is coming up this weekend on the 18th so if you are looking for tickets.

Gritty Times Square

I like to do a lot of walking tours and I went on one called The Remnants of Gritty Times Square.  It was a fascinating look back at the bad old days of Times Square that a lot of us have only seen in movies.    The tour guide Robert was very well informed and entertaining.  I highly recommend it, it’s available at Untapped Cities.   My doll dressed for the tour.

Manhattanhenge

While it is late winter/early spring, I was thinking of warmer days and the ever exciting Manhattanhenge.  That time of year when we try to capture the sun in perfect alignment for our selfies.   These are the tourist dolls Charles and Plum and this is one of the many tourist spots they have hit.   I hope to share more of my dolls travels in the future.Manhattanhenge
